Hey Government Contractors, Don’t Forget to File VETS-4212 by September 30!

American flag raised to the sky.
Supporting Veterans Across America!

Hello, awesome folks!

If you're a government contractor like many of us, there's this little thing we all need to stay on top of showing our veterans some much-needed love and appreciation! Since 2008, the big folks at the U.S. Department of Labor, specifically the Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) and Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs (OFCCP), have been cheering on the noble cause of supporting our veterans in the workforce.

Now, without diving deep into the legal jargon, here's the lowdown:

1. Are You in the Club?:

  • Got a government contract (or subcontract) worth $150,000 or more? Ding, ding! You need to jump on the VETS-4212 report bandwagon.

  • And hey, if you locked in a deal before last December and haven’t tinkered with it, you're still part of the crew.

2. Mark Your Calendars:

  • Yearly submission time is by September 30th. Maybe pair it with a pumpkin spice latte to celebrate the season?

3. Why Bother?:

  • It's all about giving back. Veterans rock, and this is our way of ensuring they get the awesome job opportunities they deserve.

  • Plus, skipping out on this? Not cool, and it might cost you big time in the future.

4. What's the Gist?:

  • Jot down your total peeps by job type and where they're at.

  • And don’t forget about the fresh faces! Especially the veteran ones, by category and location.

5. Get it Done!:

  • Online is the way to go. Quick, easy, and fuss-free.

  • Multiple locations? One big report works, or go location by location if that's your jam.

6. Stuck? No Worries:

  • This can be tricky, so shout at someone in the know if you're scratching your head. Whether it's legal buddies or pros who live and breathe this stuff, they've got your back.

This isn’t just ticking a box, folks. It's about lifting up those who've done so much for us. Let’s stand by our vets, not just because we have to, but because it's right.

And hey, if HR hassles are getting you down or you want to chat about how to make this whole process smoother, give KDG Support LLC a ring. We're all ears!
